Taking pity on his creations, this compassionate titan stole fire from Olympus to give to humanity - bringing us both physical and metaphorical fire; not only warmth and light, but the spark of creativity, inspiration, philosophical illumination and wisdom.
This gift of fire allowed ancient humans to shape our world, through metal crafting, science, art- and spiritually, through being given divine light and the gifts of reason, Judgment and higher thought.
Today, Prometheus is revered as the exemplar of rebellion against oppression and the status quo. Burn this candle when fighting for justice against impossible odds, seeking illumination and working for the greater good.
