The Devil alerts us to be mindful of our connections, addictions, predilections and bad habits. He challenges us to face our fears and embrace our shadow selves; to examine our lives with head high and eyes wide open, seeing and owning our animalistic natures as well as our divine essence.

He demands that we look at our choices and relationships- brutal honesty and awareness is of where we are right, here right now in this place in our life.
